What Football Hub Is

Everything Football Hub Does, Pointed At The FA Cup.

Football Hub puts a ridiculous amount of football data under one roof: ten seasons of stats, live matches, predictions and bookmaker prices for 22 leagues, 14 cups and 9 international competitions. Cheatsheets spot the patterns that keep repeating, and The Analyst, an AI that has read all of it, does the digging when you ask it a question. Here is what that means for the FA Cup.

From The Early Rounds To The Final. Every FA Cup tie the feed carries is in the app, from the qualifying rounds that include non-league clubs through to the semi-finals and final at Wembley.

Giant-Killings In The Numbers. Ten seasons of cup results make the upsets measurable: how often the lower-ranked side wins, and what a cup draw tends to look like.

Team Sheets Before Kick-Off. Rotation decides cup ties. Lineups arrive as soon as they are confirmed, so you can see who has been rested before the game starts.

Priced Like Any Other Match. The bookmakers price FA Cup ties and the app shows the best price for each market across the bookmakers.

The Match Centre

Every FA Cup Tie, Taken Apart.

Both team sheets on the pitch in their formations the moment they are confirmed, a timeline of goals, cards and substitutions, the statistics and a rating for every player, live and long after the final whistle. Ask The Analyst, the AI that has read every match in Football Hub, about any tie and it reads all of this before it answers.

How It Plays

The FA Cup, By The Numbers.

The FA Cup has been played since 1871/72 and is open to hundreds of clubs from the Premier League down through non-league football. Football Hub's record of it runs back to 2017/18 and takes in 934 different clubs, far more than any league, because the early rounds are where the pyramid meets. Cup ties behave differently from league games, and the numbers show it. Across the matches on record the FA Cup averages 3.27 goals a game, well above any English division, and the away side wins more often than in the league. The match centre shows every tie in full, from the team sheets to the final whistle, and the analyst answers questions about any of them from the record.

Questions

Questions About The FA Cup.

The ones people ask before they sign up. Anything else, send us a message.

How Many FA Cup Matches Does Football Hub Hold?

6,605 finished matches across ten seasons, from 2017/18 to now, involving 934 different clubs. Each match has its lineups, events and statistics where the feed provides them.

Does The Analyst Grade FA Cup Ties?

No. The analyst’s match grades are for league matches, where a season of like-for-like results stands behind every number. For a cup tie it gives you everything else: both sides’ form and ratings, their records in the competition, the team sheets and the prices, and it answers questions about any of it.

Are FA Cup Replays Covered?

The FA Cup removed replays from the first round proper onwards from 2024/25, so ties are now settled on the day, with extra time and penalties where needed. Where a replay is played in the earlier rounds it is in the app like any other match.

Why Are FA Cup Matches Higher Scoring?

Mismatches. Many ties pit sides from different divisions against each other, and the stronger side tends to score freely. Over the matches on record both teams score in 57% of FA Cup games and 64% clear 2.5 goals, both higher than in any English league.
